ReplyDeleteI'm going travelling on my motorbike soon, for a couple of months to just get away from everything, and the location of these sites is proving very useful in planning my route.

ReplyDeleteGreat website! You might already know about this but there is a really cool abandoned "cement" ship transporter that crashed up on the coast of the Santa Cruz County.
Oh, and since I'm in the middle of grad school studying digital archiving, I couldn't help noticing that the word 'archive' is mistyped on your website tabs.
I can send you some pictures I've taken if you are interested.

I love your site, the photos are amazing. I wanted to give you some info on another abandoned building. The building is in Kalamazoo Michigan and it is an old psychiatric hospital. I went to college in Kalamazoo and saw it all the time. It looked as if the people just picked up and left. Leaving everything where it was. Check it out.

This "Castle" was built but never finished. It has been abandoned for more than 8-9 years now or something...

Hey! I am from New Zealand currently having a gap year in London, love your site - keep it up. You probably know about the main UK site that encourages exploration but for those who are unaware 28daylater.co.uk and the New Zealand version slackninja.com - New Zealand has some pretty fantastic asylums that are abandoned and make great photography.
