I heard about a guy in Australia somewhere who runs a hotel, where each "room" is a refurbished, grounded airplane. I saw it on Globe Trekker about a year ago. It was pretty cool...
Great collection, but the Robert Bruno Steel House is not abandoned, nor does it look like a pig. It looks like several fictional spaceships. The source websites describe it as an ongoing project.
Excellent site, excellent photos.A little bit of history in every photo. I've found here so many pictures about wrecks and abandoned man made structures like nowhere else. Thank you all!

That's something I should be a bit more clear about: I also include on this website random building, installation or piece of art that provide somehow a sense of abandonment, it could be by the material used, the location etc...
out standing collection of images it makes me think about housing developed out of old air planes it would be so weird ---
