    I heard about a guy in Australia somewhere who runs a hotel, where each "room" is a refurbished, grounded airplane. I saw it on Globe Trekker about a year ago. It was pretty cool...

    Great collection, but the Robert
    Bruno Steel House is not abandoned, nor does it look like a pig. It looks like several fictional spaceships. The source websites describe it as an ongoing project.

    That's something I should be a bit more clear about: I also include on this website random building, installation or piece of art that provide somehow a sense of abandonment, it could be by the material used, the location etc...
